VOCcom M-4DD

VOCcom M-4DD Directional Loudspeaker

M-4DD (IP67, seawater resistant) (Acoustic Hailing Device) and high performance emitter / directional speaker module have been developed as loudspeaker components within the VOCCOM system for speech propagation over long distances. These directional speaker modules have been developed as parts of a configurable array, which, depending on how the modules are configured, enable sound to be usefully propagated over distances up to 2000m (148dB). The degree of dispersion is dependent on the hardware employed - up to 25 deg. An amplifier AP-450DD with extensive DSP functionality is used to drive the passive loudspeaker modules.
These new patented transducers can be used in mobile deployment situations or in marine applications, even under the harshest weather conditions.
Suitable for deployment as mobile speech transmission loudspeakers in VOCCOM systems for distances up to 1400 m.
