Effective Range for our Product
We have divided the Effective Range values into 3 areas:
sound pressure levels where the listener can experience health damaging sound levels (125 to 130 dB usually defines the threshold of pain)
distance where the listener experiences over 95 dB of sound pressure level. (this effective range has been calculated with our many users to be where 89 dB of background noise is exceeded by 6dB - giving 95 dB - to ensure adequate speech intelligibility)
maximum range for sound as calculated mathematically where sound pressure levels drop by 6 dB over a doubling of distance. This value is rarely achieved in practice, but is generally given in technical specifications by the industry.
